OVERVIEW
The medical health care system requires to handle hundreds of patients weekly. The data systems implemented in their daily technology are outdated and are difficult to navigate through on a hectic schedule while juggling multiple tasks. There needs to be a reliable tool clinics can use to increase efficiency in this environment.
Create a platform that helps medical professionals expedite their workflows of handeling cluttered information and and find their patient data easily. This will allow better service for doctors and patients while decreasing stress levels for optimal medical experience.
USER RESEARCH
I scavenged through available data sets on health care practices to gain a deeper understanding on how the system works. It was valuable to learn more about the different sectors of health care. I also did supplemental research on the demand for digtal health techology.
Research Insights:
Priorities to Fix:
From these interests, I compared different electronic medical record platforms that are commonly used. I ranked their common features, usability and toolkit to find which aspects are crucial to implement in my designs.
I created two user personas that represent who would use this product and to understand the background they are coming from to gain more insights on the thought process of the user for this platform.
I used Miro to map out the decision process medical professionals would go through while using this dashboard. I also created a flow for patients who have different information they need to access.

Final Designs
Using the high fidelity wireframe, I asked 5 people to try exploring the dashboard and complete tasks such as adding an electronic medical record as a professional and filling out a bill claim as a patient.
